Jordan St Cyr is a weary traveler. She’s been on the road for years, and she’s seen everything there is to see. She’s tired of the endless cycle of hotel rooms and airports, and she just wants to go home.
But home is a long way away, and she’s not sure she can make it. She’s not sure she wants to.
As a weary traveler, I often find myself in need of a break. A place to rest my head and relax my body. And what better place to do that than in Jordan?
Jordan is a country located in the Middle East, and it is known for its beautiful scenery and amazing history. From the ancient city of Petra to the stunning natural landscapes of Wadi Rum, there is so much to see and do in Jordan. But even if you just want to take it easy, Jordan has plenty to offer in terms of relaxation.
The Dead Sea is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, and for good reason. The water is so salty that you can float effortlessly on your back, and the mud is said to have therapeutic properties. If you’re looking for a little luxury, then you can’t go wrong with one of Jordan’s many five-star hotels.
The Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea is an excellent choice, offering stunning views of the sea as well as all the amenities you could possibly need during your stay. So whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, Jordan has something for everyone. So why not add it to your list of places to visit?
You won’t regret it!
What Inspired You to Become a Travel Writer
I’ve been a travel writer for over 20 years, and in that time I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in this field. But when I first started out, I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that I loved to travel and I loved to write, so becoming a travel writer seemed like the perfect way to combine those two passions.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to interview some of the most successful travel writers out there, and they all have one thing in common: they were inspired by their own travels to become travel writers themselves. For many of them, it was an epiphany moment while they were on the road – they realized that this was something they could do for a living and they never looked back. If you’re thinking about becoming a travel writer, my best advice is to just start writing.
Travel is such a personal experience, and your perspective as a traveler is what makes your voice unique. There are no barriers to entry in this business – all you need is a laptop and an internet connection. Start a blog, pitch articles to publications, apply for grants and fellowships…just get your work out there however you can.
And don’t forget to keep traveling! The more places you go and the more experiences you have, the better your writing will be.
What is Your Favourite Travel Destination
There’s no place like home, they say. But what if your home is a cramped city apartment or a suburban house with a lawn that always needs mowing? Maybe what you need is a change of scenery.
Maybe what you need is a vacation. We all have different ideas of what makes the perfect vacation spot. Some of us are beach bums who want nothing more than to lounge on the sand and soak up the sun.
Others prefer to hit the slopes and spend their days skiing or snowboarding. And then there are those who just want to get away from it all and escape to a quiet cabin in the woods. No matter what your ideal vacation looks like, there’s sure to be a destination out there that will suit your needs perfectly.
So tell us, what’s your favourite travel destination?
What are Your Top Tips for Weary Travelers
We all know the feeling of being run down and exhausted after a long day of travel. Whether you’re taking a cross-country road trip or flying to another country, these tips will help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated so you can enjoy your vacation.
1. Get plenty of rest before your trip.
This may seem like an obvious one, but it’s important to be well-rested before embarking on a journey. If you’re tired, you’ll be more likely to get stressed out and won’t enjoy the trip as much. Try to get a good night’s sleep the night before your departure.
2. Pack light. Don’t overpack! Not only will this make it harder to lug your suitcase around, but it will also add unnecessary stress.
Only bring what you need and leave the rest at home. 3. Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water during your travels, especially if you’re going to be sitting on a plane for hours at a time.
Dehydration can make you feel fatigued and sluggish, so make sure to keep those H2O levels up! 4 . Eat healthy foods .
It’s easy to indulge in unhealthy junk food when we’re on vacation , but try to eat nutritious meals as well . This will help give you sustained energy throughout the day instead of that dreaded sugar crash . 5 Bring snacks with y o u When hunger strikes , i t ‘ s tempting t o buy whatever i s convenient or inexpensive .
But these types o f foods are often unhealthy and un satisfying . Jordan St Cyr Weary Traveler Chords
Wondering how to play the Jordan St Cyr song “Weary Traveler” on guitar? Here are the chords you’ll need to know!
The song starts with a simple I-V-vi-IV progression in the key of C Major, before moving to a vi-IV-I-V progression in the verse.
The chorus features a catchy hook that uses a I-V-vi-iii-IV-I progression. To play the intro, start by strumming the C Major chord four times. Then, move to the G Major chord and strum it four times.
Next, play the A minor chord four times. Finally, end on the F Major chord and strum it twice. In the verse, things get a little more complicated harmonically.
Start by playing an D minor chord for two measures. then move to an E minor chord for two measures followed by a one measure rest. After that, play an A minor chord for two measures followed by another one measure rest period .
Next up is a G major chord which is held for two measures . Finally , end on an Fmajorchord which is also held for two measures . Repeat this verse section once more .
For the chorus , start off by playing a C major then immediately go into an Fmajor afterwards hold both of those chords for 2 beats each while you sing “ weary traveler …” On beat 3 of each measure , do a quick little embellishment (or fill) using either your pinky finger or ring finger going from C up to D then back down again OR from F up to G then back down again . This will help give your performance some extra interest and energy !
After 4measures holding these 2 chords , add in aminor on beat 1of measure 5 and hold through all 3 beats while singing “ can I lay my head …” At this point you should still be holding onto those same 2 chords from before but now adding in aminor as well giving us what’s calleda 3rd stack harmony ! To finish out this chorus section , simply repeat what you did at beginning however omit that little embellishment/fill on beat 3 of each measure . Instead just stay on those sustained notes until next section !
