Mbt Baseball 2022

With the 2022 MLB season just around the corner, teams are already making their plans for the upcoming campaign. For the Boston Red Sox, that means getting their young core of players ready to make an impact at the big league level. One of those players is third baseman Michael Chavis, who is expected to be a key piece of the team’s offense in 2021.

Chavis was drafted by the Red Sox in 2014 and made his MLB debut in 2019. He had a strong rookie campaign, hitting .254/.304/.477 with 18 home runs and 54 RBI in 96 games. He followed that up with an even better 2020 season, batting .316/.381/.619 with 15 homers and 38 RBI in just 58 games.

Chavis has shown that he can be a productive hitter at the major league level, and he should only get better as he continues to develop. The Red Sox have high hopes for Chavis in 2021, as they believe he has the potential to be one of the best hitters in baseball. They are counting on him to provide some much-needed power in the middle of their lineup, and he should have no problem doing so if he can stay healthy.

Chavis has all the tools to be a superstar third baseman, and it wouldn’t be surprised to see him emerge as one of Boston’s best players this season.
